Indian Government every year conducts UPSC Exam (The Union Public Service Commission) for various kinds of Grade A and Grade B posts. This exam is quite popular amongst all the graduates for IAS, IFS, IPS exam. To prepare for UPSC one needs to keen on different subjects such as general science, history, geometry, mathematics & so on.
UPSC Exam is divided into 3 Steps
Information about UPSC Prelim Exam:
UPSC preliminary Exam divided into two paper of 200 marks each, containing multiple- choice questions.

Important Notes For Exam:
One can qualify for the Civil services main exams or Paper -II, only after securing a minimum of 33% in CSAT Paper-I, of the Civil Services preliminary examination.
The question pattern for Paper-I containing current affairs multiple choice questions and Paper-II containing aptitude test of objective type of questions. Each paper carries 200 marks and the given time duration for the same is 2 hrs.
It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in both the papers of Civil Services Prelim exam to get qualified for UPSC Main exam. If the candidate failed to do so, consequently, result into a disqualification from the UPSC mains exams.
