National Defense Academy or NDA is a platform for candidates seeking to join the Indian army, the navy or the air forces. To enter the defence forces, one must pass the NDA exam. The NDA exam is national level and is usually organised twice a year. This test is performed by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) throughout the country. The written test consists of a scientific and general skill test where the mental abilities of the candidate and the test are analysed.
The first thing you should keep in mind is that are you eligible for the NDA?
The candidate who wishes to take the NDA must be a citizen of India. Another region also includes Bhutan, Nepal, a refugee from Tibet who arrived in India before 1962.
The candidate must be a single man.
Permanent tattoos of the body are not allowed, either only on the inner side of the forearm.
The average height required for NDA is 157 cm (5.1 feet).
The curriculum for the NDA written exam is all between 11th and 12th curriculum. If you want to decipher a written test, you must follow all the NCERT books.

The whole important subject for preparation is Mathematics. Many students did not qualify for the written test because they do not prepare well in math during the preparation time.
Therefore, if you want to get a good rank in the written basic test, all you have to do is concentrate on the math and go to the subjects and the great formula. The section in English is elementary, but it can take a while, so you should give it the right time. The other part is general knowledge; The candidate must know Indian history, geography and politics. And the most important thing will always be ready for current affairs.

The candidates will go through different tests in the process of selecting stage I. And they are the following:
Official Intelligence Rating Tests (OIR):
PPDT (Image perception and description test)
Candidates will be pre-selected based on the merit of their performance in both OIR and PPDT tests.
Only candidates who qualify for the Stage I selection process may apply for Stage II.
Stage II comprises the following:
Round interview
Tasks of the Group Testing Officer (GTO)
Psychology tests
Round conference
All these tests are carried out in the period of 4 days.
Throughout the SSB interview, each candidate is evaluated by an IO (Interview Officer), GTO (Group Testing Officer) and the Physician.
These evaluators will assign marks to each candidate based on their performance in the respective tests.
Depending on the performance in the first 3 rounds, the Conference Board will recommend or reject a candidate to participate in Indian Defense Services accordingly.
The candidate who wishes to pass the NDA exam must first complete his NDA application form. The NDA form is only online. Then, all you need to do is visit the official UPSC website and fill out the form carefully. The type requires a scanned photograph and signatures of candidates.
The form charge for the categories: General and OBC: Rs 100
There is no fee for candidates in the SC/ST category.
You must complete the form with all the information and real data. The payment would be online with debit/ visa/master card.
